For 140 years, our family-run shop sold magic, practical jokes, fancy dress and curiosities from Glasgow city centre.

Generations of customers visited us - whether looking for their first magic trick,  last-minute costume, a practical joke or simply something a little unusual.

In November 2024, our physical shop closed as the building was to be redeveloped. Tam Shepherds continues online, run by the same family.
